Ok, this was my consolation purchase until I could splurge on a full length Egyptian cotton robe, which is what I originally wanted. I expected this robe to be a light weight (thin) cloth much like my waffle weave kitchen cloths, which I like and is a cloth I would find sufficient for my summeer robe. To my surprise, this is a wonderful two-ply fabric with crisp white waffle weave on the outside and a surprise absorbent fabric against my skin. I love it! It is much nicer than I expected and it reminds me of the nice robes provided at resort spas. This robe is a wonderful find. I've deleted the Egyptian cotton robe from my wish list for now! This robe is a great value for the money and looks fantastic. I'm very happy with this purchase.
